JOSHUA JOHNSON
Academy Director
I am a father, and husband to an amazingly wonderful family. I was raised in southwest Missouri with many excursions to other places along the way. I served in the U.S. Coast Guard during which time I was fortunate enough to travel the world. I returned to Missouri to start college but eventually graduated from the University of Arkansas with a degree in Middle Level Education. Pea Ridge School District saw fit to give me a job as a fifth grade teacher. I recently graduated with my Masters in Educational Leadership from Arkansas State University. Once again the school district has seen fit to provide me with the opportunity to be the Coordinator Alternative Education.

I am the proud mother of two little boys, Mason and Louie. My husband and I recently relocated to Pea Ridge. We are so happy to be in NWA where we have always wanted to be. I was raised in El Dorado, AR where I taught history for a few years. I graduated from Southern Arkansas University with my Master of Arts in Teaching. I love teaching through project based learning and cannot wait to see what the Pea Ridge Academy students create.

I have worked with the Pea Ridge School District for 14 years. I have 25 years experience. I enjoy my job at the ALE. My husband Andrew is retired from USAF with 24 years of service and also works for Gateway Public Water Authority. I have 2 grown kids, Andy Tillman and his wife Katie Tillman and 2 grand kids Parker who will be in the 2nd grade at Pea Ridge Primary and Paisley who is 4 years. My daughter Amanda Easley and her husband Ryan Easley live in Pea Ridge.
